Airbound Arts is a unique organization. There are no paid staff. Instead, Airbound Arts is entirely run by volunteers. AVAST meets monthly and manages the big things (see below), while the Airbound community helps out on a daily basis keeping an eye on studio supplies, helping run shows, taking on special projects, etc.
This organization wouldn't exist without the countless hours of volunteered hours from dedicated people. For all of those who have helped in the past, and all of those who will help in the future: thank you!

AVAST Coordinator - [email protected]
The AVAST Coordinator oversees the team. They facilitate the monthly meetings: creating the agenda, running the meeting and then following up with board members to ensure tasks are completed. They monitor the primary Airbound inbox, responding to all inquiries. They also help manage larger projects.
Membership Coordinator - [email protected]
The Membership Coordinator oversees membership. They onboard new members and answer member emails. They manage the monthly payments, track membership discounts, and distribute the monthly door code.
Finance Coordinator - [email protected]
The Finance Coordinator oversees Airbound's finances. They track all of the various payments through membership, classes and shows. They pay instructors and bills. They manage cash deposits, and come springtime, they file taxes.
Facilities Coordinator - [email protected]
The Facilities Coordinator oversees the Airbound Arts studio. They keep the studio clean, with the help of members who earn the cleaning discount. They communicate with the landlord and manage building repairs. And they track and purchase essential studio supplies.
Rigging Coordinator - [email protected]
The Rigging Coordinator oversees rigging and studio apparatuses. They ensure adequate rigging materials are stocked, and arrange orders as needed on aerial equipment. They manage personal equipment rigging requests, and coordinate with on-call rigging team as needed. And they coordinate the quarterly rigging checks, keeping all of us safe.

The Show Production and Rental Coordinator produces the bi-monthly Airbound Arts Circus Spectacular and manages studio rentals. They produce each show from start to finish, recruiting performers and production volunteers, creating and distributing advertisements, and overseeing the set-up, running and take-down of the shows.

The Communications Coordinator oversees both external and internal communications. They manage the website and social media, keeping them up-to-date. They create and distribute the quarterly newsletter, and assist with internal communications. And they promote Airbound events and services.
